My suspicion about Apple

There is no doubt that Apple is an immensely successful and innovative company. Yet, my intuition tells me that they play the game of hiding problems all too well.

Take, for example, a recent problem that I experienced for the first time, a logic board failure... though, you can see from this thread that Apple is not owning up to the deeper issue of a hardware flaw. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1995151?start=0&tstart=0

Then, there is the antennae issue on the iPhone of the past that we've all heard of.

Now, here is another issue with an iPod Nano. http://www.macworld.com/article/163592/2011/11/apple_institutes_first_gen_ipod_nano_replacement_program.html#lsrc.rss_main
But, there resolution comes only 6 years after the Nano was produced. By delaying their response to the issue or not acknowledging that it exists until most people have given up.

As Apple diversifies and there range of products grow, I would expect there to be more frequent issues. I guess time will tell if I'm correct and how Apple responds.
